Dr.Shetty was born in Bangalore, India. He completed his Schooling from St Joseph's (European), Bangalore. Dr.Shetty is a Board-certified Plastic Surgeon who has been actively practicing in Bangalore since several years and has made a remarkable name for himself not just from his patients but also from his colleagues.He is also attached to a teaching hospital,where he teaches undergraduates and also trains surgical post graduates.Dr.Shetty always had an outstanding taste for aesthetic surgery which made him seek international training in the field, to further polish his already existing surgical skills.Dr.Shetty is very compassionate when it comes to patient care and management.

He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate (MS) in General Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Sciences (RGHUS), Karnataka. Further went on to  complete Super specialty (MCh) in Plastic Surgery from the prominent and well known MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. During his training he has visited many premier institutes of India like Tata memorial hospital mumbai ,Ganga hospital coimbatore and learnt advanced skills necessary for his practice. He was also trained in aesthetic surgery under the world renowned Plastic Surgeon Dr.Nazim Cerkes at Turkey.

He has over 13 years of surgical experience and over 8 years of experience in the field of Plastic surgery and has co-authored several Publications thereby contributing to the field of research. He is a diplomate of the board and belongs to a number of organizations which are not limited to:

IAAPS – Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons

KAPRAS – Karnataka Association of Plastic & Aesthetic Surgeons

APSI – Association of Plastic Surgeons of India

Dr. Shetty has devoted his professional career to all aspects of Cosmetic Surgery with a special interest in Rhinoplasty, Facial Aesthetic Surgery, Breast Surgery, Abdominoplasty, High Definition Liposuction. To keep abreast of the latest developments in his specialty, he has always exceeded the continuing education requirements of National Medical Commission of India in which he is licensed.
